AI-built apps · App Store & Google Play

Your AI-built app works. Getting it into the App Store is the hard part.

Lovable, Bolt, Replit and Cursor get you a working app. Getting it approved by Apple and Google is a different job: native packaging, store listings, privacy forms, and review rules that reject apps that look like a website. I do that part, or fix the rejection you already got, for a fixed price.

Why it stalls: most AI app builders produce a web app. The stores want a native app. A web app wrapped in a native shell can be rejected as “minimum functionality” (Apple guideline 4.2) if it feels like a website in a frame.

Incomplete submissions (placeholder text, broken buttons, a login the reviewer can’t use) are the most common reason for rejection, and Apple’s own data shows roughly one in four submissions is rejected on the first pass.

The fix is usually small. Knowing which fix is the skill.

A rejection note names a guideline number. Each one has a specific, known remedy: a working demo account, real native features, a correct privacy label, an account-deletion button, in-app purchase handled properly.

I read the note, fix the app against it, and resubmit, so you aren’t guessing through three more week-long review cycles.

How it works

No passwords, no surprises

  1. Free written check

Send me what you built it with and where it’s stuck (or the rejection text). I reply with what’s blocking approval, what it takes, and a fixed price.

  2. Access without passwords

You invite me as a limited user in App Store Connect or Play Console and share the code repository. You can remove access whenever you like.

  3. Package, fix, test

I wrap or convert the app, fix review blockers, prepare the listing, icons, screenshots and privacy answers, and send you a TestFlight build to try on your own phone.

  4. You approve, I submit

I submit, answer the reviewer, and handle one rejection round at no extra charge. You keep the code and the accounts.

Most founders

Ship It

$2,000

Web app packaged for iOS and Android, store listings and privacy forms prepared, TestFlight build, submitted and shepherded through review.

Before real users

Ship It + Harden

$3,500

Everything above plus a security pass: exposed keys, login, and who can read your database. You get a written findings list.

Apple Developer ($99/yr) and Google Play ($25 once) fees are paid by you to them. Some apps are better rebuilt than wrapped; if so I’ll say so and quote that separately.

Who you’d work with

One developer, start to finish

I’m Dane Hale, a software engineering director in Franklin, Tennessee. I co-founded an app agency, built and shipped my own iOS app through App Store review, and lead engineering teams in my day job. I use AI tools to speed up the repetitive work and review and test everything myself on real devices.

You’ll deal with me directly, from the first email to the store submission.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can a Lovable or Bolt app really go in the App Store?

Often, yes. Lovable produces a web app, which is typically wrapped with Capacitor; Bolt exports an Expo project. Apple can still reject a thin wrapper, so I check that the app does enough natively before I submit.

Do I need a developer account first?

Yes: Apple Developer ($99/yr) and, for Android, Google Play Console ($25 once). Register them in your own name or company name so you own the app. I can walk you through it.

What if Apple rejects it again?

One rejection round after submission is included in Ship It and Rejection fix. Rarely, a concept can’t pass (for example, an app that is only a chat box with a paywall); I’ll tell you that during the free check.

Do you need my passwords?

No. App Store Connect, Play Console and GitHub all let you invite a user with limited access that you can remove at any time.

What if the check finds nothing wrong?

Then I’ll tell you, and you owe nothing.

Do you build apps from scratch too?

Yes. See the main page for app builds, rescues and product leadership.
