What it is: an AI opportunity audit is a short, structured review of your workflows, tools and data that ends in a ranked list of where AI will save time or money, what could go wrong, and a 90-day plan to act on it.
It's the step between "we should be doing something with AI" and a first tool that works and that your team trusts.
What's in the two weeks.
1. Interviews. Four to six people who actually do the work, not just leadership.
2. Workflow map. Where time goes today: intake, drafting, data entry, scheduling, reporting, follow-up.
3. Ranked opportunities. Each AI use scored by hours saved, effort, cost and risk, with an owner and a first step.
4. Risk and data review. Where client or employee data could leak, which tools are already in use, and where your counsel should weigh in.
5. AI-use policy draft. One page your staff can follow, ready for your review.
6. 90-day plan and readout. What to do, in what order, at what cost, reviewed with you on a call.

Questions
Frequently asked
How much does the AI Opportunity Audit cost?
It starts at $3,500 for most firms with up to about 100 employees.
Larger or multi-location organizations are quoted after a short call. The price is fixed and agreed in writing before any work starts, and it's credited toward a pilot build if you hire me for one.
How long does the audit take and how much of my team's time does it need?
Two weeks, with about four to six staff interviews of 30 to 45 minutes each.
Beyond that I need access to sample documents and a look at the tools you already use. I don't need system passwords, and I won't touch live client data without your say-so.
What do I get at the end?
A written report, a one-page AI-use policy draft, a 90-day plan and a 60-minute readout call.
The report ranks every opportunity by hours saved, effort and risk, and names an owner for each. You keep everything, whether or not you hire me for the next step.
What if the audit finds AI isn't worth it for us?
Then the report says so and tells you why.
Not every business has a good AI use right now. A clear "not yet, and here's what would change that" is still worth knowing before you buy licenses or hire someone.
Is my data safe during the audit?
Yes. I work with the minimum information needed, and we agree in writing what I can see and keep.
I can sign an NDA. For regulated data such as health or attorney-client information, we use redacted samples or work on-site, and your counsel or compliance advisor decides what is shared.
Next step
Start with a 30-minute call.
Free, no deck, no pitch. Tell me what your business does and where the busywork is. I'll tell you whether AI can help, what it would cost, and if I'm not the right person, who is.
